Easter

Today was a great day for our family! We started the day at Double Oak Community Church with our friends Jenny and Jay. Ryan did great sitting with us until it was time to pray. Sure, what great timing he has to start talking about his juice, paper and paci! "Ooohhh, juice!!!" "PAPER!" Then Tim asked if we brought his paci and Ryan shouts, "Paci!!!" LOL. I was turning red, but everyone around us was laughing just as I used to do before becoming a Mommy. Ryan talked one too many times, so I decided to take him back to the childcare area. As we passed by everyone seated in the congregation, Ryan stopped to wave at everyone and say, "Hi!"

When we got home from church, we found that the Easter bunny had left Ryan a basket and eggs in the front yard. The egg hunt didn't go as well as we thought it would. It started off with giant black birds swarming overhead. Then Ryan wanted to open them up one at a time to see what was inside. Once he emptied the egg, he'd throw it over his shoulder and say, "All gone." His prize egg got him a set of golf clubs too.

After the egg hunt, the three of us watched The Masters and relaxed before going to dinner at Oma and Opa's. What a great day!
